No. I've only read like the first few volumes of the first series. A lot more happens in the first series than is in the anime. The sequel takes place after Yuki goes back to Japan.
I didn't watch anything, it was manga. My gay friend always wanted me to read it and that's what they all were. >_> And I know Gravitation isn't like that, I was just saying that in general that's what I've seen.

There's much better stuff out there. I agree, though. The stuff you saw is extremes of the "seme" and "uke" stereotypes. It seems to be especially popular with girls. Seme is the dominant one and uke is the submissive one. Most of the time, the seme is the "guy" and the uke is the "girl", if you will.
It's kinda like how the "onee-chan" thing in shoujo-ai is starting to get old.
I guess I'm a bit out cast on this one, but Gravitation annoyed the hell out of me.
Overall it was a decent series I guess, but, I don't consider it yaoi. This is because I don't consider Shuichi a man. They just took a sub-par romance story, flattened the girls chest and gave her a penis, just to sell a series.
That and Shuichi and Ryuichi are just unrealistically "cute", I put the cute in quotes because I suppose it could be considered cute but is also insanely annoying.
